This place is a huge rip off. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a dozen and a half of pork tamales and my total was $98 (doesn’t even add up to the total that’s advertised on the website). Not to mention the tamales were 80% masa with very little pork in them at all. 10/10 would never recommend anybody to this place and it’s a surprise they have been in business over 30 years.
I ordered with the girl at the counter and I felt very rushed I gave her my order and I was never asked if it was for here or to go. When I get to the register I tell the girl oh my food was to go I need to get back to work and the girl said oh she didn’t ask you if you wanted it to go and I said no she didn’t. I get charged for my food which doesn’t match the prices online and the girl says have a good day and I said oh is the burrito coming and the girl goes oh I wasn’t told you had a burrito and I said yes I even choose the beans and was asked if I wanted cheese. The girl says ok I’ll get your burrito but I didn’t charge you for it so I pay for the burrito and go back to work and ate my cold tasteless beans and in my tamale I had this long piece of vein that was in my meat. First time visiting here and it’s my last
Had roasted bell pepper quesadilla was very good. My wife had their chilaquiles which was very good. She asked for spicy and received spicy. Update: they no longer have the spicy sauce. Also went from roasted potatoes to a overly cripsy hash brown.
I was recommended this place but it's definitely overpriced and food is very salty. Doesn't really taste authentic. Maybe I'll give it a second try but pozole was definitely salty.
This place is better than the mission inn. I went to the mission inn and got a chili relano that was cold in the middle lol so they don't make them fresh. No biggie I used to be a chef, there's nothing wrong with cold storing Certain foods as long as the ingredients are quality. That being said it is an extreme f-up if you remind your customer of that by not cooking the food properly. The tamale factory has the best quality ingredients, an original taste, great breakfast and the best pastry-turnovers you will ever have. This place has somewhat unreachable hours so u may find yourself getting breakfast here more often than not, I still have yet to try the tamales because I'm always getting breakfast or pastry here. Crazy how they beat the mission inn as well as having an unbeatable apple turnover that the nearby bakerys should be sweating about.
Ordered two Chile Colorado quesadillas. The employees looked at each other strange. Took too long to get the food and then instead of Chile colorado, we get flavorless chicken. Never eating here again. Embarrassed for them
Nice atmosphere the blueberry empanada was tasty Parking: Parking garage is best so you can take your time 1.5 hours $3.50 during the week
