The S.O.S. Tiki Bar

Visited S.O.S Tiki Bar with friends around 6ish on Sat. night. The experience was a bit disappointing. If you’re expecting gimmicky Trader Vics decor, tiki glassware, or apps that go well with tropical drinks rethink this place. Indoor seating seems to be the main focus, outdoor seating not so much. Why the one star rating? 1. being told you have the table for 90min., and the waiter will let you know when you have 10min left. that in itself was laughable and off putting 2. chips & salsa, our order of 10 overly seasoned chips and a shallow dish of guacamole puree was disappointing 3. Drinks were served in basic glass or plastic cups, missing the tiki inspired glassware

Best bar ever. Love the teak veneer on the walls! Pop up tonight was truely dismal tho, How do you mess up a taco? I wish theyd just had a taco bell pop-up. Everything else is great tho! Obvi!

Very nice and fun I didn't get food but will when I go back only got the best drinks ever. Parking: If you can find a place on the street for free and walk to it then do so.

It was alright. The service was really great, but the drinks were all super watery and not a lot of flavor. I think that has to do with the style of ice they use.

Drinks were ideal different and prepared with style.

Always a great time at SOS. Wait times can be long during peak hours so plan around that and you will have no issues. The bartenders are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. If they aren't too busy I recommend chatting with them about whatever drinks or rums they are excited about. Everyone should order the Mai Tai at least once, you won't be disappointed.

Food menu is extremely limited but the chicken thigh and smashed burger was good. Corn ribs were overcooked a little too long for me. Drinks were delicious - I ordered one from the menu and the bartender made me something special off menu and it was also delicious. It’s a small bar but being able to get a drink while waiting made the time go by faster.
