The Sandbar Seafood Restaurant

Great place with great seafood. It gets pretty crowded though and the tables are very close together.

This place is fabulous, perfect food, stunning view, kids friendly table. Thank you so much Veronika and Mr. Captain you guys made our day! The best staff ever! Thanks to their professional service we had such an amazing night.

We visited Granville Island and found this restaurant. It was a rainy day and the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered a seafood tower, a pasta dish and a side of truffle for the kids. Our children love the pasta and the fries. Unfortunately, we didn't feel the seafood tower was anything special. Perhaps maybe because of the rainy and gloomy day when visiting, eating cold seafood wasn't what we expected. I guess this would taste better on a sunnier day. The ahi tuna and oysters were great. I would go for different dishes if the server suggested alternatives. But he didn't pay us too much attention.

We had a fantastic lunch and our server Noura was amazing and took really great care of us. Would recommend for a nice meal with a beautiful view on the water.

Mediocre at best

I had family in town, and they wanted seafood. My sister actually picked the spot. Wow, our dinner was so good! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing I'll be coming back. Our server was very nice as well.

Great food, fresh, nice music. I am from Edmonton, AB and it was worth the try. Reasonably priced.

Five stars all around except when they get to the end and they say you need settle up so the table is reserved for the next party. Very off putting after you have spent good money on a night out. Management should review this as I will second guess returning based on that alone.
