I lost a hat there server named Darnell was a jackass about it. I was simply asking about my hat. One of the cooks came out of the back and asked me if I was missing a hat and I said yes and Darnell Turner looked and said don’t bother him and said he’s not gonna know anything about your hat. That’s when I really felt like someone my knew something about my hat. I was just looking for my hat did care too much about it, but the experience was completely unacceptable. Darnell needs to be a different line of work.
Servers were personable and it was a nice location
Airport lounge. Had a table out of the way of the crowd. Piano was nice to listen to. Ate from the food court and brought food back.
There were 3 bartenders and total of 14 people around the bar with drinks in the front i asked to sample two wines and the bartender seemed annoyed by this after giving me the second wine to sample bcz simply i didnt like the first one… he then said i will be right back and walked away at 8:49pm and didnt return until 8:58 in that time no one asked if i needed a drink and completely ignored me while assisting other and mind you i sat down at 8:40 ……. I finally got my drink at 9pm sooo 20 minutes with 3 bartenders is not acceptable especially when your in a bar fully staffed that chose to chat the whole time instead of being attentive
$31 manmosa and not even half of the wine glass
Lovely. Beer is frosted glasses, calzones to eat between flights.
The saving grace of this place was the single waiter who was taking care of all the tables by himself. His name was Deon—give that man a raise. Otherwise it’s just sitting in the middle of the terminal drinking subpar drinks. Somehow both the Prosecco and the vodka sodas were flat but cost me over $60. They also forgot my shrimp but it was fine after I watched them unwrap the shrimp for someone else out of plastic wrap. The food here is not made fresh (not a surprise when you see the location). If you can, go somewhere else.
I typically have 3-4 hours of time to kill waiting for a flight. So far I've always ended up here. I typically get The Germaine, which is delicious, for around $15-17 (no menu in front of me currently to remember). Today I got the... something Bella pizza and it was quite good, though maybe I'd want to add mushrooms to it in the future. I typically do about one drink per hour and plus the food, my tab was around $70ish before tip for three drinks and a pizza. Kind of pricey, but all airport food is (fyi my pizza here was cheaper than my friend's wrap at a non-bar establishment). The Germaine is always perfectly done (have had different bartenders) and certainly has alcohol. They don't always have live music, but it's nice when they do.
