The most under the radar pasta joint. I've been about ten times and never had a bad meal .. the baked dishes are the winners .. cold, fresh salads always. I'm pretty sure the dressings are house made. My go to all-day.. meat lasagna and cheese manicotti. TRY THEM BOTH!
Not very Italian place. It's OK, to grab quick dinner, but not restaurant. Do not expect restaurant food or service. Payment and tips in advance before dinner like in Subway. Kinda this place have not decided are they restaurant or Subway. Design of restaurant but service like fast food dinner.
I've been going to Pasta Market for a few years now(Los Altos & San Jose locations). It's a hidden gem. They make pasta in house, so it's fresh! Prices are good , and we can take our kids there, no fuss, which is a plus. And you have to get the bread sticks, delicious.
I stumbled on this place when the weather was super cold and I don’t regret it! Not only was I surprised about their menu but I was genuinely surprised by their food, service and quality of both! I had questions about the different pasta and a staff helped me out and explained very kindly!! I loved the spaghetti and the clam chowder soup that I got! I also got to taste their house made bread and omg! They should charge extra for that! It was a delightful, fulfilling and super tasty meal. I recommended this place to friends and family! I will come by again!
The Pasta is very delicous, tastes like in Italy! Price is also very fine and the Bread is house made.
Picked up Xmas dinner on 24th.
We love that this place is locally owned, and being SJ natives ourselves, we’re in love with the bread and cheese spread. Very much like LaVic’s orange sauce, the cheese spread over their warm bread is legendary in these parts. We also enjoy their spinach tortellini with Alfredo sauce, and fresh made pizzas, and this time we also tried the carbonara…all tasty. Another thing we like about this place (since we have two teens) is the quickness, affordability, and portions. As we typically have some leftovers, dinner here also means a tasty lunch the next day. I must add that the staff was very friendly, jovial and attentive. Ordering at the counter was quick, and the dude with a big smile and artistic neck was spot on with his hospitality. Super nice, hella helpful, and laughed at my dad jokes (but genuinely) lol…while we’ve been to pasta market many times, and have used their catering for house parties, this particular visit and interaction reminded me to share their goodness with the world. Bravo PM, we’ll see you soon! Ps…cool Valentine’s Day decor and instagramable photo area…nice touch!
Stay away from this place. I spent $44 for a cold clam chowder soup and chicken Alfredo that took 20mins to be served. Service is bad, the guy who work there is rude and kept drinking his McDonald soda at front. Men’s urinal is broken.
