THE PALM COURT

Had cocktails and coffee and dessert. Dessert was excellent. Expected the prices to be very high but was very disappointed by two things:(1) service was poor. It was mid afternoon (not that busy) but server was very inattentive. (2) a cup of decaf coffee was $15. Seems a bit high even for the plaza. What really shocked me was the server said that they didn’t freshen up or refill coffee. Never ever been to a premium business where they didn’t refill coffee. Avoid.

Just got the amazing and justifiably expensive cocktail. Worth every penny since my sister said it’s the best cocktail she ever had

Amazing experience - the bar area is beautiful, servers were very kind and helpful. Only thing that was surprising was a 40% instant gratuity that was not disclosed.

분위기 좋고 직원분들 친절하고 다 좋은데 사람이...세상 많아요.....정신없었는데 다행이 음식 먹다 보니 빠지더라구요 혼잡한 거 싫으시고 분위기를 제대로 즐기려면 애매한 시간대에 가시는 거 추전합니다

Afternoon tea was everything you could ask for. The delectable tea sandwiches, the sublime pastries, perfect service. The tea was wonderful too. We brought or grandchildren who are notoriously picky eaters. They ordered the Eloise tea. Well it was such a wonderful surprise to see them enjoying all of the delights. Almost everything on their towers was finished. A gorgeous caramel chocolate apple for each was eaten at home later and the beautiful experience continued! We are all looking forward to visiting again soon.

This is a civilized experience everyone should have. A step back to old NY. The tea list is imperial (no surprise!) and the food was delicious.

I had a delicious dinner at the bar in late March 2024. I checked in at the host stand and was offered an immediate seat at the bar or a table with an approximate wait time of 15 minutes. Tony and the team at the Palm Court were attentive and the food was delicious. It was fun to craft a customized spirit-free beverage. Lovely space. Worth a visit.

Nice Good Excellent

I would recommend sitting at the bar to soak in the atmosphere. The setting is gorgeous, you're in the The Plaza New York so if you're whining about cost, don't come here - it's an iconic memorable one off experience and the bar staff were fantastic to me. The Winter Sangria will be a drink I think about for a long long time. Delicious.
