I used to be a huge fan of Original Pancake House. I had moved away from town & visited again after some years & it's sad to day the food quality had significantly decreased while meals have nearly doubled in price. For spending $50 for two, the waffles, bacon, & eggs were dry & cold. I also felt a bit deceived due to being told I could substitute my 3 pancakes for any waffle only to find out I was upcharged. I wouldn't have minded but would've liked to know. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food after ordering. The service was good, food was way overpriced for its low quality. It's sad to see one of my favorite breakfast places has gone downhill.
Waitress was rude &NEVER NOT ONCE CAME TO CHECK ON US,REFILL OUR DRINKS,ASK IF OUR FOOD WAS GOOD.. LIKE LITERALLY NOTHING! I HAD TO FLAG DOWN OTHER SERVERS FOR REFILLS,NAPKINS,OUR CK &TO GO UTENSILS!! SHE RUINED THE PANCAKE HOUSE FOR US!
Service was friendly and helpful. The place was well taken care of, and the food was tasty. Parking is also convenient around the local.
My favorite place to have breakfast in DFW. I love the atmosphere, food and service. Dutch baby is always the best choice, usually takes up to 40mins. Took less than 30mins on a weekday. I forgot to take a picture of the actual Dutch baby but it was glorious! Recommend joining the online waitlist on weekends, because the wait is easily 45+ mins even though they usually have live entertainment, a saxophone player or balloon clown for children.
Beja was an awesome server. Food was great.
This place is an absolute delight, Carlos and his staff are truly amazing. Food is great, service is great. Most definitely a gem to try. Hit this place up, you won't regret it. Plan on a wait though but it's worth it.
Friendly staff and good food. We like the back room for our firm breakfast meetings.
Eat there every Friday!!! Stacy, Aida & Doris make it feel like home!’
I said I was going to come back and this time was ready to take the picture of my meal and I don't found the option but it was so delicious.
