Optimist is a gem in Germantown. You can always expect delicious cuisine, inviting ambience, and top notch service. This is a destination not to be missed for anyone looking for a memorable seafood experience.

Very disappointed. Took client to dinner. Bar was fabulous then we got seated. Our order was wrong. The food was a 2 out of 10. Our server was nice but not friendly. We got dessert BEFORE our meal and our oysters never arrived. When we mentioned it to the waitress, there was no apology. Won’t be back. Vegetarian options: If you want to eat side dishez

Great spot for some seafood in Nashville. Had the lobster roll and an assortment of the day's oysters, all were extremely fresh and delicious. The bread was great, very buttery and garlicky. Definitely recommend the stop.

This place is amazing!! Went for a birthday and every staff member we encountered wished a happy birthday. Our server Brian was knowledgeable and personable, great service! The food was beyond delicious. We ordered the swordfish, schnitzel, hush puppies, oysters, calamari and would recommend all those dishes!
