Very good tamales, I have been buying them for several years and I still like them like the first time
Didn’t even go but 5 stars
Sure the tamales might be cheap like 12 for just $10, or that's what it used to be when she would deliver to our work site and sell them out of the trunk of her car. But the meat to masa ration was way off, way too much masa and not enough meat, plus the size of these mini tamales was like 2 inches! That small a tamale, I'd need 4 or 5 to make a meal. You're way better off just getting the tamales at Costco ... not so much masa and bigger too.
Great food, home made. I did take out for the three of us. Tamales, an enchilada order and excellent rice and beans.
They're celebrating their 20th anniversary. Best tamales anywhere
Amazing food and service she is an amazing lady it is a must try
Tried two of each chicken and pork red salsa tamales. Meat in both tamales was well seasoned and tasty with plenty of sauce inside as well. The masa was also well seasoned and flavorful in both. Moisture was perfect with my preferred masa consistency. Served with a side of green salsa that was delicious. Transplant from the Arizona Mexican border I've been in the Reno/Carson area for over 7 years. I've tried street vendor tamales, fundraising tamales, tamales from local restaurants, my all-time disappointment, FB marketplace $30 a dozen tamales. The Lady Tamales By far, the best tamales in this area I've tasted with the best per dozen prices. Parking: There is plenty of parking with a large lot and easy street access for an rv.
