The price was high. The pork chops were too tough to eat. Banana pudding had bananas that were too soft. Service was good. Vegetables were good.
The food was delicious. Family sized servings, with "all you can eat" refills. It did take a while to get refilled, so order early. While delicious, the food wasn't particularly hot when it came to our table and we were seated under an air vent, so it continued to get cold. Server was pleasant and kind, but seemed to have a difficult time getting back to our table when needed.
The biscuits and the butter cake are the only thing worth eating here. The collards were not southern collards at all, just wet leaves. All the vegetables tasted canned. The roasted chicken was under seasoned the first round, and better the second round. That's the only thing we got a refill on but I'm assuming that speaks to the inconsistency. I expected good, down home, southern food, and that was not what I got at all. Do not recommend.
The food was amazing and so were the servers the only issue I had with it was that the chicken and dumplings had way too much thyme in it but everything else we got was amazing!!
I arrived late, opted for dessert. Peach Cobbler was excellent. Sweet, but not too sweet. Tea was good. Nice ambience.
We attempted to eat there. The staff were reluctant to accommodate and did not did not seem happy. We sat down at a table that needed to be cleaned and the waitress whined it was not clean. I saw a group of waitstaff standing nearby and one of them was looking over shaking her head negatively. So rude and definitely not the southern hospitality we have seen every where else in Savanah. It felt nasty be there. Walked out
They changed the overall experience from buffet to order and bring to table, but I still very much enjoyed it. Great food, great service.
Antney was incredible! Very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive.
