The James Room

Overall just ok - the atmosphere is a vibe but I hate that I have to scream in every establishment in Atlanta. Turn the music down!!!!!!! The DJ is great, charcuterie board was on point but I can’t hold a conversation with anyone - my voice is damn near gone. The server checked in maybe twice over an hour and a half so we ended up forgetting that we wanted more olives. Again, turn the music down - we would like to hear the person screaming across the table from us, sheesh. It’s a small place - it doesn’t need to be so loud!

It's a great spot to mingle with friends over cocktails and good food. The decor is super dope as well and the biggest plus is that there's always some great eye candy in the midst.

Great drinks! The food, music and atmosphere is an A++! We really enjoy ourselves every time!

My favorite place in the city!

I liked The James Room! I went with friends on a Friday night and had a great time. Our waitress was not friendly, but she was efficient and quick to take our orders. We had the Equinox and the New Year’s Resolution and both were delicious! It was very busy, but our party of 4 was seated immediately around @10pm. However, other parties were sitting waiting and the Beltline location doesn’t take reservations.

Had a great time at the James Room, staff was friendly and the food & drinks were good. Def a great grown and sexy vibe.

James Room is an epic statement of culinary expertise and master cocktails in Atlanta! A vibe! A must visit-- again and again!

The service here is SO BAD! There is an automatic 20% tip added to every tab, and let me tell you: that was NOT deserved and you could tell the waitresses KNEW they were getting paid regardless. HUGE problem I've heard from several friends and myself. Please train your people better.

1 star for 20% automatic gratuity. The cocktails are $16.60 and with the gratuity brings it up to ~$20. We had 5 different cocktails and only one of them was decent. Good atmosphere for a group but the music was so loud we found ourselves yelling and repeating ourselves a lot

The service wasn’t worth it. Definitely not recommended, the service people were very racist. Even after manager tried to explain it to the host (the guy with blazer) he threw my friends phone away and he even tapped inappropriately to my friend with very mean tone. The server and manager were trying to help but the host guy was not responding to them and this all happened in front of manager. Definitely not a a place for respectful people.
