We've seen this place every time we go to a New York Rangers and finally decided to try it, and it's a great place to eat before or after a New York Rangers game at Madison Square Garden. The food was great, and the drinks were good as well. Our bartender was awesome. He made sure that at no point that our drinks were ever empty. Every time he was low, he would come over and see if we wanted a refill, which my partner and I much appreciated. The food came out quickly and was delicious. We will come back there the next time we go to a New York Rangers game at Madison Square Garden.
Great portions and delicious. Store in fire am early dinner, got a table by the windows and get to people watch.
We were greeted right away, service was fast and everyone's food looked amazing. I had the Chicken Cobb Salad. All the ingredients were fresh and the portion size was perfect. Ordered tiramisu as well. It had a thinner consistency than I prefer. It's a great location to hit up, especially if you have an event at Madison Square Garden.
We were visiting the place nearly every day of our stay in NYC (six times), and we planned to do so for several more days. The service, food and beverages were nice. Until last evening, when a bartender/manager basically sacked us off our table in a middle of dinner, as he needed “a table for an incoming group”. He tried to move our group to two separate tables and basically left us standing with drinks and plates in our hands. Seemed upset when I firmly asked to prepare a place for our group to sit and finish our meal. Totally unprofessional and rude behavior, will never visit again, even though we live just round the corner for a couple of more days.
We live just around the corner and wanted to check out the local dining scene. We arrived around 3 pm, so it was relatively quiet. We ordered fish and chips, penne alla vodka, and the Cesar salad. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Perhaps the pasta was slightly overcooked, but not everyone prefers it al dente. Our overall experience was quite enjoyable. The service was friendly and professional.
Great menu, food and drinks. A bar with attentive knowledgable staff and good drink offerings. A must visit place for me in NYC. A Snow Patrol group investment.
