I went to the Honor Bar with my girlfriend for a casual dinner. We both had one glass of wine and I consumed one iced tea. We had full meals with appetizers. It was relatively early in the evening. The manager came to our table and asked that we moved to the bar. We had been at the table slightly over an hour. I will admit it was starting to be a bit busy, but not that busy. We were both shocked that they asked us to vacate the table. The waitress came to the table and asked if we would like anything else. More drinks? Dessert? I explained to her that the manager was attempting to kick us out of the restaurant or make us move to the bar and vacate our table. She was absolutely shocked and appalled. It seems that she approached the manager and confronted her about the rude behavior. The manager denied what had taken place. To add insult to injury, she came to our table and began to deny the entire affair. She treated me as if I was senile and asked if I needed a cab ride home because I might be drunk. I’ve never been more insulted in my entire life. I’ve never been more rudely treated in a restaurant in my entire life. Many people witnessed this event. I was beyond mortified. The people at the table heard what took place and they couldn’t believe that the manager could be so rude. I always believe in giving people a second chance. But, in this case, the second chance shouldn’t be a possibility. This person has no business dealing with the general public. I will tell all of my friends about the experience. I will speak ill of the Honor Bar for the remainder of my life. I’ve been a resident of Palm Beach for almost 15 years. I know everyone in this town. And I will make absolutely certain that they know this person, and the Honor Bar, is a place that has passed its prime and should not be considered for a dining experience. The manager’s name is Nageli Lozano. Her business card says she is the General Manager. My name is Robin Wilder and I certify this review is true and correct.
Our favorite place! Chef Joe makes the best burgers in town! Seriously, absolutely the best burger we’ve ever had
Very nice atmosphere. Casual dishes with quality food.
House margarita perfectly mixed — not too sweet. Prime rib sandwich great. Meat perfect, roll fresh and buttery, horseradish sauce on pointe. Bartender Julie could not have been more helpful.
Ok experience. Wait took significantly longer than quoted (which happens and is generally ok). Fries were shoestring and very crispy (not my style). Dip duo was ok. The queso was a cold cheese and it was served with approx 7 chips. They brought more as we ate them but overall the food felt a bit overpriced and undersized. Kid-friendliness: No high chairs available. Not kid friendly
Absolutely great atmosphere and food taste great, a little expensive, but worth it for a great casual lunch
You won’t regret your dining experience here. Waiter was a class act, charming and funny. Went with my parents. Good atmosphere for anyone. Burger was delicious.
5 stars for service 5 stars for atmosphere 5 stars for food quality 1 star because the got rid of the French dip! This was a devastating discovery! Please bring it back! It makes no sense!
