I had expectation for this restaurant. The service was great but the grits were too salty, the water was tap water not filter something that’ I’m not use to at a restaurant. Furthermore, the hot chocolate was very pricey, $7.95. I have never saw such a high price for a cup of hot chocolate! I complained to the manger about it. She was very nice and she adjusted it.
Brunch was AMAZING. Come here...you won't be disappointed! I wish I could have taken pictures of the kid sitting across from us eating his ginormous pancake! Service was good just busy and maybe needed more people.
We come here twice a week to see our favorite waitress Barbie and great food
Pleasantly surprised at the delicious food in this simple restaurant. Brisket was fabulous (smoked on location)
Amazing service and food .We loved how it looked and I loved all the details.
Stopped here for a bite on our way south. Glad we did, this place is awesome. The servers are friendly and funny! Greeted upon arrival and they all talk and joke with you as if you’ve been there a million times, definitely made it a great experience. There is indoor and outdoor seating (outdoor seating is covered). It’s very casual with a country feel. The food! Everything sounds amazing and everything that we got was! 10 out of 10 the biscuits and gravy are a must! The Fried Green Tomato Benedict was too good, the biscuit was out of this world. The home fries were great- crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and perfectly seasoned. Husband got the the Meat Lovers skillet, said it was good and filling. The few bites I snagged were amazing! I asked for a side of jalapeños, they came slightly charred- great addition. Will absolutely be back to more of the menu! Great food, great vibe- can’t beat it!
This place has been on my list to try since they opened their Boca location. Upon arriving from the rear of the restaurant, the working smoker back there was intoxicating, smelled so good. Greeted right away and given a table without waiting on Saturday at 10am, very surprised we didn’t have a wait. As you can see from my pics, the menu is extensive making it difficult to decide what to choose, luckily, all the wait staff is really into telling the restaurants “story”. A Southern Scratch made kitchen with everything made to order and they make it known, that they take pride in their presentation, to which my pictures do not do justice. I ordered two biscuits as an appetizer (one would have been suffice) as they were unctuous velvety soft indulgent delights. Probably one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the red velvet waffles, which were light, fluffy and delicious. I ordered the brisket skillet, which was very good and very rich. I will definitely be making a return trip to try other options like chicken and waffles and also our neighboring tables orders, which were: eggs Benedict and burgers, they looked amazing. This is a foodies haven as everyone was taking pictures of their food. On my second visit, I had the smoked chicken sandwich, it was excellent, served on a pressed brioche bun, with bacon, Gouda and house made bbq sauce, great combo Vegetarian options: Menu items can be altered for Vegans, Acai bowls, Avacado toast, oatmeal Parking: Free parking on side and rear of building Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level entry and wheelchair accessible
