Food was fantastic and the hostess and wait staff were exceptional. The piano man was great during dinner but the valet really put a damper on things. I would have easily given 5 stars overall if not for the valet. I cannot even imagine how it took him 15 minutes to bring our car around on a chilly night when we were standing there looking at a half empty parking lot. He took his time. We had only one glass of wine and no dessert and dinner for two was over $200.
Ever since they got bought by a corporation the food and quality is much lower.
Dellightful people run this place. When a band plays, it will be great music. Crowd always knows that and expects it.. Parking: Not much close parking. Gotta walk a short bit from neighborhood., unless you are camping.
Where to begin. We have been going for 30 years. Casual elegance to a fancy evening. The food is a treat to your tastebuds. I could live on the fried zucchini, which is a complimtary appetizer. The staff treats you like royalty. I also found out that 4/21/24 will be their 50 yr anniversary. I think they know how to spoil their customers. If you haven't been to Godfathers, you should make it your next night out!!! Or lunch.
The swordfish special was ok. Maybe I'm just not a fan of that dish....
My first visit, food and drinks were great. The staff wearing black suits and ties gave it that final touch to compliment the look of the restaurant.
Authentic, Italian, romantic, and old-world charm all in one place. Step back in time to the days where servers actually care about a diners experience and will do pretty much anything to make you happy. All the pasta was so delicious and the tiramisu was to die for!! Highly, highly recommend!!
The staff were very polite. The food was delicious.
