One of my favorite things I ate during a vacation in Austin! So good we came back twice during the week. Highly recommend the elote dog. Don't hesitate to come here.

I got the jalapeño cheesy dog and jalapeño cheesy fries. I didn’t get a picture of the fries before eating them, but everything was soooo good and flavorful! I’m not vegan, and I definitely recommend to anyone vegan or not. Such a good meal and really sweet owner!!

Tasted odd, later found out they don't use real hot dogs. Go figure. Elote fries weren't bad.

All vegan corndogs? Amazing...but VEGAN BREAKFAST CORNDOGS!?!?!?!! Shut up and take my money!! Seriously though, holy tastebud happy dance. The Pancake dog is everything I've ever wanted in a late-night breakfast dish. The elote fries are next level delicious. And of course, regular corn dogs are great too, even my non-vegan friends love everything they've tried here.

The Corn Dog Guy is one of Austin's newer food trucks that serves hand-dipped plant-based corn dogs in a house-made corn batter. The flavor and texture is almost 1:1, you couldn't even tell that everything here is free of any meat and dairy. Very nicely done! The specific flavor you see here is their Elote Dog. Just like an actual elote this has "mayonnaise", "buttered" chipotle corn, cilantro, Valentina hot sauce, and grated "parmesan". What's crazy is that they were also able to pull off a corn in the cup flavor that matches almost 1:1 to one that is made with dairy ingredients. It also tastes pretty authentic, so I was impressed. Again, very nicely done. Now both together? I'm a purist, I would have been fine with just ketchup. Not that the flavors weren't good, because they were great! But I'm not sure how I felt about them together. But that's just my own personal preference, and doesn't affect my rating anyway! With that said, I got to give them a 4.5/5 for being amazing. They really pulled off something awesome here. This cost me $9 and was pretty filling, as it's a bit bigger than it seems. I left highly satisfied and suggest y'all come try this for yourself!
