THEY CONFISCATE NARCAN!!! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CLUB! IF THERE IS AN OD, THEY WILL BE LIABLE SINCE THEY ARE THE ONES TAKING IT AWAY! Update: I guess they’re allowing it in now. But we will see. I still rate this place as is.

First time visiting this venue, generally poor experience. Had a cartridge confiscated. My issue with this, is ive lived in CO for years now and have been to multiple music venues around the state, and anytime there is an outdoor area for smoking, i have never once had an issue with being allowed to freely use vape cartidges on the premises outside. So i therefore, genuinely didnt think there was any issue , or that i was breaking any rules as a result of multiple past music venue experiences both in and outside of denver within CO. Its worth mentioning that they also had zero signage of any sort indicating these guidelines. Seems several other people have had this issue as well. Unfortunate. If i had known about the rule, i obviously wouldnt have tried to use it. One of the security guys told me in a very (unwarranted) abrasive and patronizing way that this wasnt allowed, and implied i must not be from here if i didnt know this rule. As this was my first time at this venue/ first offense, and my first time hearing of this rule in general, i think a warning would have been more than appropriate given i would have had zero issue with complying and putting it away for the night once knowing, since it was an honest mistake and i didnt have any malicious intention. Meanwhile i could see and smell several people throughout the rest of the night vaping without being reprimanded. The larger issue here is it seems this rule is not enforced consistently at various venues throughout the state, nor does it seem to be enforced consistently within the venue itself. Signage is harmless and would help to educate people in a preventative sense rather than confiscating peoples belongings after the fact. For a weekend show- the advertising of this venue was also misleading in that it mentioned multiple music acts occurring at the same time in different rooms, however this was not the case. There was only one performance happening in the main room. Misleading. The crowd was also noticeably very young. As in college age at most. I have heard this from other people in the past as well. Would be nice to see a more diversified age mix of people. At the very least, more than a bunch of kids (who acted like kids) that appear barely of legal drinking age. Other venues of this size in denver seem to draw a more diverse crowd which has a noticeably better feel to the venue vibe. Speaking as someone in my mid-late 20s. Was looking forward to this venue being of a similar (ish) caliber but Denver version to a couple former favorite Brooklyn venues such as Elsewhere Hall, the good/bad rooms, the Basement, all unique venues also known for creating multiple experiences in different rooms. But i was sadly disappointed due to the inconsistent rule enforcement/ lack of signage, the misadvertisment of music experiences, and the type of crowd that seems to be drawn here, which frankly felt juvenile. Did i mention that even venues throughout nyc (or other local denver music venues) dont have as rigorous of a security pat down process to get In but are still perfectly safe and more enjoyable? Its excessive. A woman really took her time looking through my tiny purse twice over to memorize its contents. Needs a better system. One could say theyre being super vigilant but they come across as a-holes. Mean while they dont seem to thoroughly check ids, so im confident there was plenty of underage drinking which frankly carries significantly more risk than vaping ever could. The only part that was enjoyable (however, greatly affected by the factors mentioned above) was the music itself, but the artists (who we got tickets months in advance and stayed downtown overnight to come see) get credit for that. Not the venue. I think i would only come back for the relevant artists we listen to, if applicable. but frankly the monotonous age range of the crowd was a bit of a turn off. Long story short, this venue absolutely has the potential to be fantastic, but it very much fell short for my first impressions.
