The Capital Grille

Spectacular all way round. Delicious food ,wine and atmosphere.

I often dine at various restaurants at the International Mall and have never been to Capital Grille. I made reservations here for my birthday dinner but was running late due to traffic from Gasparilla. I called the restaurant and they were so understanding. When we finally arrived, we were promptly seated to a decorated table with confetti and a card. For starters, my husband and I ordered Calamari & the Lobster Crab Cake with the Lemon Basil Aioli. The crab cake was absolutely delicious (chef's kiss). You must try this. I also had 2 orders of the Passion Fruit Mojito. For our entrée we ordered the Double Cut Rib Lamp Chops, NY Strip with Courvoisier Cream, Mashed Potatoes & Cream Spinach. We also received a complimentary dessert for my birthday. Everything about Capital Grille exceeded my expectations. From the service to the food to the ambiance, everything was 5 star.

This place has best food and service . Espresso cake is a must try..

I ordered food for my husband's birthday dinner for takeout. When I arrived, my order was ready. I was told the order had been "double-checked" and all ready to go. I didn't question this classy and expensive restaurant. I drive 30 minutes home to discover I was missing the Ceasars salad. I called 2 different numbers 3 times and couldn't get any answer to get credit for the mistake. I am angry.

We recently returned to Capital Grill and had another fantastic experience. We began with the lump crab appetizer, which was a delightful start to our meal. For the main course, I ordered the 10oz fillet, and it was cooked to perfection (med rare), just the way I like it. My husband had the sea bass, which we both agreed was the best we've ever had. To complement our mains, we indulged in the heavenly mashed potatoes, which were simply to die for. The overall dining experience at Capital Grill was top-notch, with impeccable service and memorable dishes. We'll definitely be returning! They get it right every single time!!
