The Bearded Baker

Owner is super nice and incredibly talented. Got a dozen of their macarons and wish I would have got more. The flavors were so good and texture was perfect. Will definitely be back!

Such a nice spot and Scott was awesome! My daughter and I stopped in for macaroons and a latte! We both walked out with a smile so good and did not disappoint. We will be back very soon!

I like to try new bakeries and was very much looking forward to trying this one. This bakery has a very limited menu of a handful of cookies, so I am expecting some delicious cookies. Sad to report, the cookies here are good but you can get similar elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Try Chip City or Levain if you feel like paying nearly $6 for one cookie. I do not mind at all paying $6 or more for one cookie but the quality/price ratio here is quite poor. They need to step up their gourmet cookie game, and I hope they do. I am willing to pay - but not for the current offerings of generic store-like cookies and machine-made cappuccinos - at gourmet prices.

We recently hired the Bearded Baker to make some desserts for our wedding reception. We got cookies, Nanaimo bars, and some macarons. Everything was incredible, especially the cookies. They went so fast! Plus we had someone actually from Nanaimo try out the Nanaimo bars and she approved. He was also able to deliver to our venue in downtown Brooklyn. The service was seamless and very professional. Would definitely use The Bearded Baker again.
