Such a cool spot! Rented out the whole place for a birthday. Food was insane, even for vegetarians. Wine was out of this world. Dope ambiance with an open kitchen.
Having been fortunate enough to enjoy meals at a number of phenomenal fine dining establishments, this stands amongst the best! The great company we enjoyed the meal with made it all the more special but the food experience was exquisite, without the awkward stuffiness of white tablecloth establishments… the tasting course was memorable, delicious, elegantly and lovingly crafted within eyeshot, and wonderfully put together. Stylishly served, with all of the staff authentically enthusing and describing dishes, and amplified by excellent wines lovingly paired by the friendliest of sommeliers. They also easily accommodated my wife’s pescatarian diet with delicious alternatives - the truffled buckwheat pasta was truly delicious, I had to steal some! The Wagyu beef was phenomenal and a real treat! This place is too new to have those pesky Michelin stars but they deserve them. I suspect getting a reservation here will get increasingly difficult, and deservedly so. Go now, while you can. And thank you to the whole team who prepared and served us such a wonderful dining experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the wines and the conversation! Some dishes had really interesting combinations of tastes. Kudos to the chef and the owner. Keep it up!
