Funky lil bar worth a visit. Casual vibe, decent prices and an eclectic crowd.
Always have a great time here! Food is fire, and service is on point every time! Andrew and JD are the best. It's one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood.
Take my money, Bill, J.D., Drew are, you should just meet them.
We came in at around five thirty, on a Saturday. It was probably a weird one off, but when we walked in we weren’t greeted, nor did the bartender stop her conversation to address us until a different group came in about five minutes later. She walked to them, took their order, and then circled back to us at the bar, which felt a little unfriendly. She seemed lovely with the regulars and the drinks were good, and once her coworker arrived he was friendly, so it was overall a good vibe, just a chilly start. The cheese curds were delicious! We tried the owl saloon the other week and this is their sister bar apparently, so it was cool to see both of them, but if you’re looking for good service, I’d do the owl saloon. If you’re looking to become a regular, bar car for sure! Parking: There is technically free street parking if you are lucky! There’s also a free garage about a block away. Wheelchair accessibility: From what I saw, they only have taller tables, not somewhere I’d say was accessible in terms of seating.
Definitely a neighborhood bar. Had a bit of a standoffish vibe if you're not a regular, but the younger bartender was really great & friendly. I was confused by the food (google says it serves pizza, the building itself says it serves BBQ, but it ended up just being regular bar food...) but the burger and fries were good.
We’re visiting family from the UK. We popped in early evening and the bar was buzzing. A great bar and very reasonably priced drinks. Fab atmosphere. I suspect we will be back several times more before leaving.
Great little bar. Small, cozy, dimly lit. Friendly. Cheap. Just as a bar should be.
Great place and good food, always stop in when in Denver!
