The Attic Cafe

The owner, Rosa, is a gem. Great cafe food and coffee with a relaxed vibe and lovely balcony. Edit: May 2023, my favorite downtown cafe is moving to Ybor! So happy it's gotten so popular that it has outgrown its current home. Really going to miss the 4th floor Attic on Kennedy, but looking forward to the upcoming Attic on 7th!

As a visitor to Tampa, this was a great morning stop for breakfast and mimosas. Our server Hannah was Fantastic. Despite being very busy, she took time to share tips about traveling in Tampa and even gave us a Destination Guide/Map

Great views, quick and friendly service, tasty breakfast dishes with fairly normal portion sizes (read: closer to actual portions, not enormous plates of food), and sparkly mimosas. What's not to love!

All the employees are so nice and friendly every time I've come in. The food is good I just wish they had a bigger menu. They were also very helpful when I mentioned my food allergy

The Valentine's Day dinner special was so good on all accounts. My partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners, and the menu was crafted very well and everything in both dishes complimented each other. My partner got the prosciutto salad and honey glazed salmon, and I got the spinach salad and Tuscan chicken. Both meals were very well put together and thought out. Excellent taste and texture! Our waitress was also very kind and brought out each course at a good time. I'd definitely return for this special next year, it might be a tradition for us. Also, a little sad for the restaurant, but it also was crowded at all, so it made for a nice meal in which we could actually talk. I feel like every other place will be packed on Valentine's night.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went here with my boyfriend we had a nice breakfast, everything was great. BUT!! my bill came out to 49$ - I paid and left 0$ tip! My card has been charged 66$ afterwards! a while extra 17$ been added, that is not okay. I have the receipt and I’m sure you guys still have the receipt too and can see I didn’t leave no 17$ tip!! Stealing peoples money like that, crazy. My server was Carmen. I do NOT recommend.

The absolute best mix of small town, amazing home cooking with downtown sass & skyline vibes. I only got the chicken salad (crispy) but it was insanely fresh & delicious, and I overheard two tables say how it’s always so good when they come here. Felt right at home and had the perfect little lunch to carry me through the rest of my walking tour. Thank you Attic ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic little hidden gem of a rooftop brunch spot that offers amazing mimosa pitchers as well as fresh, unique breakfast items. The area outside is very quaint with a single row of 2 top tables and a beautiful view of some of downtown Tampa. It's also well behaved dog friendly if you sit outside. If you are lucky enough to get Carmen as your server, and order a mimosa pitcher, you will be in for a sparking treat as she adds a little glitter to your day! She was seriously so amazing and having my drink swirl with glitter was absolutely the coolest thing ever! We had the most relaxing time with the fresh air and perfect atmosphere. Parking is super easy on the street and the elevator will take a few minutes longer than you would expect but it's an older building so it adds some character. Love this place!
