We’ve been regulars of beer plant and tellus joe since beer plant opened. We’ve hosted many birthdays there over the years and ordered takeout at least 3 times a week during the pandemic. We stopped eating at beer plant about a year ago because the food portions and quality were in severe decline. Their hours were wildly inconsistent as well. We’ve stuck it out with tellus joe, but lately the ($6 or $7!!!) tacos are either missing ingredients or were pre-made. The coffee itself is super hit or miss as well as it seems they keep changing their roaster. I’ve made friends with some former staff and it definitely seems like a management/ownership issue - can’t keep staff, poor quality control, and inventory issues. Will be solely supporting Littlefield’s down the street from now on.
It used to be good. For some reason they started serving pre-made breakfast tacos that are no different from something you make at home in the morning and get to eat at lunch time. By the time you get it is mushy and unpleasant, when you are paying for something that is not cheap. When they started it was tasty and fresh, they used to get prepared at the moment conserving the appropriate flavors and textures and was worth it. Also the menu was a bit bigger now you are lucky if you get 3 options.
Had the matcha rhubarb lemonade - AMAZING. Shout out to Victoria for creating such a refreshing and unique drink!
Espresso is well poured and tasted heavenly
Very bitter espresso No real milk
very tasty breakfast tacos Dietary restrictions: great vegan place
I recently stopped going as often because the food quality and portions is all over the place. Consistently missing at least one ingredient on a taco with like three ingredients. Decided to give them another go because I like to support vegan/plant based restaurants. Ordered three of the current special tacos and nothing else togo this morning for $23 after tip. All three tacos were different sizes none of which were the size of a $7 taco. Used the salsa container for scale.
