Taverna

I love Italian food but this is not authentic Italian food. I was not impressed with the flavors or the portions. It does get packed on Sundays so you could guess that their typical crowd has less than a sophisticated palette. My friend who ordered drinks was also not impressed with the drinks.

Food quality gone down. I used to say Tarverna is better than North Italia. It’s not the case anymore. They become a fast food joint. They made my pasta in the same sauce as my husband. And I even found pork belly in mine when there shouldn’t be any. Our dishes are completely different. Anyways the food was bland. I asked for more seasoning in mine. My husband even said the food quality isn’t great anymore.

This place is in a good location, but the food wise, the portions were pretty small for the price and potatoes were over cooked. Sad to give this feedback, but hope it helps you to do better. We were surprised with the price of mimosa as they were strong and only 3 bucks!

By far my favorite Italian restaurant, risotto here is phenomenal. Don’t forget to try the Buscetta and The fries
