Taste of Samarkand

Awesome Uzbekistan restaurant that definitely took me back to Samarkand! First off, this place is a little out of the way and very popular! We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday night. I would definitely recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment. All the food was awesome! We started off with some samsa which were nice and crispy and full of juicy tender lamb. And of course we had to order the plov, also really good. It’s a bit oily but I also find that adds to the flavor. And we had an assortment of kebabs - all nicely done. To finish, we had a light airy cake that was to die for - highly recommended. Note - they don’t serve alcohol but allow BYOB. There’s not much in this neighborhood but I did find a deli a couple blocks away that had beer.

Friends took me here for my birthday. It's just an amazing lively friendly atmosphere. The food is fresh, delicious and lacks absolutely nothing Vegetarian options: What can I say anything dish minus the protein is vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: As any well-behaved child knows what sitting down for dinner means. Please don't expect a fast-food atmosphere, the place is really for adults the music will keep the kids entertained. My suggestion it's not a place for unruly kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Really?

The place is setup well enough where you can have a conversation with a person next to you without raising your voice - a nice break from a typical city place. Appetizers were good, but the meat was simply amazing.

Absolutely loved the dining experience at taste of Samarkand restaurant! The flavors were exquisite, and every dish was a delightful journey for the taste buds. Highly recommend for a flavorful culinary adventure!

There was not a single aspect of our experience that could have been better! Perfectly efficient yet warm service, beautiful decor, and indescribably wonderful food. Five stars is inadequate!
