From the moment we walked in, we were greeted w/ positive vibes . Our waitress was SUPREME in her awareness of the menu and drink specials. My date is a BIG fan of Mexican food & she cooks it rather well. That being said even SHE was blown away by the exquisite taste, the seasoning was impeccable and the drinks were perfect.I was across the street at RICHIE'S Barber shop treating MY 90 year young DAD to a shave and haircut . She got hungry so we asked " Where's some good Mex" They pointed across the street, the rest is HISTORY. I am from Hawaii & the customer service was like ALOHA in the Bay Area. You MUST GO!! Treat your taste buds to a culinary delight. Parking: The area is busy but there is plenty of street parking, paid & free. Parking in the rear as well as across the street at the Safeway strip mall.
Disappointing Experience with Overcooked Burritos and Unappetizing However I have visited this establishment three times now, hoping for an improvement in the quality of their burritos, but unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing. The main issue I have encountered is that the burritos are excessively filled with rice, resulting in an unbalanced and unsatisfying meal. Additionally, on each visit, I noticed that the meat was burnt, which further detracted from the overall taste. Recently, I decided to give their breakfast burrito a try, assuming it would be a different experience. However, to my dismay, the sign clearly indicated that it would contain rice, which was unexpected for a breakfast option. Despite this, I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, the breakfast burrito was also overloaded with rice, making it difficult to enjoy the other ingredients. When I brought this issue to the attention of the staff, they insisted that I had already consumed a significant portion of the burrito, even though I had only eaten about a quarter of it. Their refusal to acknowledge the problem left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. In conclusion, my repeated visits to this establishment have left me with a negative impression. The excessive amount of rice in the burritos, coupled with burnt meat, has consistently resulted in an unappetizing experience. The inclusion of rice in a breakfast burrito was unexpected and did not contribute positively to the taste. Moreover, the staff's refusal to address my concerns regarding the excessive rice only added to my disappointment. Lastly, the lack of flavor in the food made it difficult to appreciate the meal. I hope the management takes these points into consideration and works towards improving the quality of their offerings.
