I’m not one to compliment high on Tacos, at least those on the north side of the border. Asadero’s not only got the texture of the meat right where it does not taste like chorizo, but the flavor is there slight spicy n sweet with juicy meat. This is far closer to a Mexican authentic taco than a lot of the other Mexican and non Mexican taco shops I visited. The service is fast, very fast I couldn’t get to my seat before the taco was ready. All in all the flavor of the adobada tacos was pretty good. Tacos are a bit expensive but, you will save a bit of time and gas from not having to cross back south to grab a bite. Totally worth it! Great Job Guys!
First time trying this nice restaurant and it is fantastic! Super authentic and delicious! I recommend 100% ! Haven’t found tacos as good as these in San Diego, 5 Stars!! Great Service, Clean restaurant, and fast service! Adobada tacos were “trompo” style, my favorite! And Carne asada tacos were fantastic as well. I also tried the Birria consomé and it was really good and flavorful:) They also added a side of grilled onion and pepper
Authentic al pastor. Better than anything in South Bay, and more meat. Other places, I can eat 4 tacos, here, I could barely finish 3
Got the birria tacos, and they were delicious.
First timer here and I can’t wait to go back!!! Stopped in for lunch today and the place was busy! Always a good sign at 2 pm. I ordered 3 s, 2 adobado and 1 steak…. I have never had an adobada taco like this in San Diego. Seriously a 10. The flavors were outstanding, juicy, spicy and tender. This spot is 5 mins from poway and I can’t wait to go back. The staff was super friendly and super fast turn time on food! Happy holidays! Cheers, Thomas
Feels like being in a taco shop in TJ. Adobada was flavorful and juicy - not dried out like other places. As authentic as it gets.
