I’m leaving this review to hopefully help the customer experience and efficiency of this location. I arrived and the line was out the door into the food court, and upon arrival I overhead one staff member ask the singular worker if she needed help with the line, to which she replied “no”. They continued to only have one staff member serving the 15 people waiting in line one at a time, while the rest of the staff worked on online orders which were clearly built up as well, or prepping ingredients. This location has 3 registers and with the wait being long enough that I witnessed people leave the line, and only one staff member decide to help out after my own wait of 20 minutes, I can’t imagine this was up to standard at all. I’ve been to plenty sweetgreen locations and have never experienced this before.
I love their Mediterranean bowl, with humus and chickpeas etc, its bit pricey but very tasty, service was fast and quick.
The food was whatever but my biggest problem is how small the salad was. For 15 dollars I expect a BIG salad but it was the size of an appetizer salad at best. The 5 dollar salads at Salad N’ Go are bigger than this.
Ok so the issue is not the food it is how you have to get said food. They have so many things that are only made in the app. Think about it for 2 seconds. All the stuff is there. It’s not like they can’t just make it. But when you ask the staff they can but they will make an online only item as a custom bowl that will end up being almost double or you can do what I did and sit at a dirty table and try their app to process Apple Pay until it goes through then get told it will be 30 minutes. I can see the staff. Literally they know why I’m here and what I’m trying to get. 22 minutes later they put it on the to go shelf. Awesome experience. Their food is good but their process sucks and as an IT professional it is one of the worst ways to implement technology. Also try the novel concept of cleaning your tables. This place is gross. It really made waiting for the food a worse experience. If the restaurant is this gross how is the food handled behind the scenes. .
Needs more staff- during lunch rush they had one person making food/checking everyone out. Took 30 mins to get my order. Def need a checkout person and someone to make food
The food at sweet green is amazing when they get it right. Most of the time it’s wrong or the rice is rock hard. Service is terrible as well.
They forgot the miso ginger sauce and when I drove back to get it, the staff rolled their eyes and made it seem to “hassle” them. Just disappointing service
