This is probably one of the best places to eat in Henry County. Love the environment and the food is creative and amazing.
My mouth is watering just typing this. The food is so unique in the BBQ world and so tasty. I can't get enough. The restaurant is such a beautiful space to eat. I can't get enough of those corn bread muffins. (drooling) Highly recommend trying if you have never been. Cute date night spot as well.
I’m pregnant and extremely picky with my food now. I’ve been dealing with some Covid symptoms where I don’t have my taste or smell so I kinda figured this would be another bland meal due to this. Let me tell you something… the flavor in those collards slapped the taste right back in my mouth!! I could’ve cried in that to go plate. I also had the mac. I couldn’t get the full effects but I knew if I could, the Mac would’ve SLAPPED too. I was able to get some of the taste and it was pretty dang good. I also had the pulled pork. I’m sure it was good too but unfortunately my baby doesn’t agree with bbq sauce so not much was eaten. You guys definitely got my boyfriend lots of brownie points for getting me this. I’ll be visiting when I’m all better and can enjoy fully❤️
The brisket was good, lacked flavor though. The Mac was A1. The green beans and Brussel sprouts could of been better if they were a little more tender. The jerk greens were were good. The cake and apple pie was good as well as the strawberry lemonade( not for everyone). Now the drinks were the star of the show! We had the peach margaritas which was top notch, shout out to the baraista! Can't forget the waitress she was amazing!
We love SAB!! They have terrific food every time we’ve been, and the service has always been amazing, even if they are very busy and/or short handed.
Absolutely love this place . However, I have to express my concern about a recent change to the menu . In the last month the smoked wings , specifically the chili crisp , have changed but not for the better. The entire taste/flavor profile is thrown off. The wings are one of my favorite items and now with the preparation change they are lacking in every way .
Decided to stop by and try this place out since it was on the way home from work. Service was okay. Took a minute to get the beer I ordered and it wasn't even cold. Got the crying tiger sandwich the flavors just didn't go well with each other and I couldn't pick it up with the small chunks of meat kept falling out so it was ate with a fork. Mac macaroni and cheese was the best part of the meal. For what i got it was extremely overpriced.
Went durning there chiness newyear event. It was awsome and the special menu item wer yummy. For $120 you literally fill 4 ppl belly full with some to go. The pimento wanton were soooo good and so are the brisket egg rolls. The soup, congee, and Memphis burger were good. Boa bun was ok. The performance of the dragons were fun. Would recommend for family. Theybalso do take out.
We are BBQ people, especially smoked brisket. You can tell the art of smoking meat is lost and folks will give any popular named restaurant four or more stars - folks will basically eat anything these days. Anywho, I didn’t have a big appetite so I ordered a cocktail, jalapeño cornbread and brisket eggrolls. The cornbread was good. The drink, (jack and coke), was strong. The brisket eggrolls were meh. The best part was whatever pickled vegetable came with it on the plate. Was it not for that, they wouldn’t have any taste at all. My husband ordered the brisket plate. It came with ONE full slice of brisket and a piece of the end of another slice. It was laughable. But we hoped the taste would make up. It didn’t. It was the same flavorless brisket like in the eggrolls. No smoke flavor whatsoever. Had my hubby wondering if it had been cooked in an oven. Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts in a sweet chili sauce were the sides. Sprouts were very good. Mac….meh. It’s worth a trip back to sit at the bar for cocktails. Nice atmosphere and beautiful establishment. I am curious about the peach coleslaw. Oh! My husband got banana pudding. It didn’t look appealing so I never tasted it.
