Hamburger Mike's

The people were extremely nice. I got the smoked turkey burger and sweet potato tots. Unfortunately the burger was unseasoned and dry. My husband also got the smoked turkey burger and sweet potato fries w/powdered sugar on top. He had the same feelings about the burger. My tots tasted like the store bought sweet potato patties IYKYK. My daughter got the vegan Philly. She just didn't get the taste she expected and felt it was drowning in cheese. No one told us we had to request lettuce and tomato for our sandwich. Just not for me.

We've been coming to this spot for years. It is a very casual, very comfortable, older building so there are no bells and whistles. You come to this restaurant to get good food to go or you sit down and your meal. There's not a lot of seating but there are a few tables. Every time we go it seems like the majority of people are picking their food up. This is a great spot if you enjoy beef hamburgers, turkey burgers, impossible burgers, or veggie burgers. Is rare to have a burger spot that offers a burger in so many options. You also have the option of a traditional bun, a wheat bun, pita bread, or even just served on lettuce. They have onion rings, French fries, sweet potato fries, and even zucchini fries. None of your toppings come on your burger, there is a small condiment section where you add your lettuce, tomatoes, Chow Chow, pickles, etc. Every time you come you're going to be greeted or you're going to have a friendly conversation with one of the staff. They are very down to earth and appear to be family-oriented so they are always welcoming. There's even a little horn at the door that you can honk for great customer service. The cook is always accommodating to whatever changes that you want to make to a menu item and I hope if this cook ever leaves that he properly trains the next person so that the food tastes just as good. If you want a good burger come here, and although I haven't tried them yet, I have been told that the Philly cheese steaks are amazing. I will be getting the chicken version or the impossible version of that on my next visit. The sweet potato fries are really good but I also enjoyed the zucchini fries. The drinks are self-served from a fountain drink dispenser. Definitely check them out for a casual yet enjoyable experience. Even though it's just comfort food it's not cheap but you get what you pay for. You want a good tasting fresh burger, you need to be willing to pay for that. Their hours are more limited than your standard Burger Joint so plan accordingly. You can call in your order ahead and pick up when you get there. Vegetarian options: They have the impossible burger and a veggie burger that is made from fresh vegetables Parking: This is a small strip mall with only a couple of stores so there is plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly and the atmosphere is family oriented Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible

This place has become well known for having the best burgers around. Everything is cooked to order. It does take awhile to get your food, but I assure you it is worth it. The fries are great. The burgers are great. The people working there are great. Need I say more?

You MUST have a burger here!!! I was in the area to take care of some things; it was close to lunch time and I was wondering what I was going to eat. God had me look to the left, everything slowed down and I heard harp music as I focused on the sign that read "HAMBURGER MIKE'S", I knew at that moment what I was having for lunch. When I walked in folks were happy as they were eating their burgers, that's probably because of the lady at the register. Forgive me for not remembering her name but she was the SWEETEST person! On top of that, EVERYONE was super nice and helpful! When I got my burger on Texas toast, I thought they forgot the veggies and that's when I found out I had to put in a little work. There was a refrigerated cooler to the right of the register with all the goodies I needed (FRESH lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ....). That thing was so clean, it reminded me of how the Navy chefs on my old ships used to CLEAN everything in the galley (aka kitchen), That's when I found out the cook served in the Navy (salute). Anyways, I built my burger, went back to my seat and enjoyed it thoroughly! Y'all, I struggled to finish that burger, but it was SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! I sacrificed half my fries to finish that burger (LOL)! You know, I forgot about the 5-hour drive back to Camden County, now I'm full as a tick (UUUGH). In James Brown's song "Pass the Peas", JB says to Bobby, "Hey Bobby, why do you like soul food?" and Bobby says, "Because it makes me haaaaappy". I was like Bobby after that burger :)! Best hamburger ever since I've been in GA. Wish it was open longer, but it makes you want it even more.

Great experience

The best burgers in town! This restaurant is where you'll find Southern hospitality since I haven't found it anywhere else. Great food, service, and company Parking: Parking is in front of the store front. Kid-friendliness: Very kind to all age groups. Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp for a wheelchair. They'll hold the door for you.

The burgers and customer service is top tier every visit. Thank you guys for all that you do!!
