Sushi on Jones x Don Wagyu

I rarely post reviews only really bad ones. This place is a scam. Super overpriced for very small portion and bad presentation. I ordered takeout it looks no different than the sushi from the Bodega and taste only slightly better. Please don’t order from this place.

Disgusting rotten food. Very unfortunate since I visit hundreds of restaurants in NYC. Was surprised to be served rotten fish smothered I. Spicy mayo to cover it up. How upsetting.

Fun trying my first wagyu sando, which I was VERY excited about. It was pretty tender and delicious, with GREAT fries. I did think it was a bit overcooked and the bread a bit soggy from beef juices more than I'd like.

Got the Wagyu Sandwich, I would have expected to pay around 25 dollars for the quality of the food I got. Instead it was over 50. Dry meat between white bread.

Spicy chicken Katsu sandwich was smothered in a very very sweet sauce - wasn’t spicy - overall not good, though the chicken was cooked well (not over cooked as fried chicken sandwiches usually are) Fries were inedibly salty.

I prefer less salty. Meat was not tender as I expected. I had American Sando and chicken katsu. Both similar taste. Very generous with the salt...

Most of my ratings I consider Public Service Announcements, and this is no exception. Ordered omakase and extra wagyu uni on Saturday and received a bad case of food poison instead. I am still trying to shake it as I write this. I can’t tell if it was the bad wagyu or uni or scallops. The entire meal was terrible. Insult to injury: over $100 (omakase $68, wagyu uni $25! Plus tax and tip)! Save your money and time in the loo and avoid!
