Great care and precautions taken for a gluten allergy! I have celiac and even the omakase was thoughtfully prepared so I could eat everything. Everything was delicious!

We are thoroughly disappointed with the sushi. We know of sushi on jones since it was a little stand at the bowery market location, hence was excited to go try but it prove to be such a waste of money. Two of us each ordered the 12 piece Omakase and a craft of sake. The chef is confused about the flavor its going for, basically just throwing different japanese-ish seasoning on the sushi, or heavily toping with soy sauce. The size of the sushi was tiny tiny tiny, not entirely sure what they are trying to save there. The rice, was terribly cooked. It is mushy on the outside and hard on the inside. Too hot of temperature with the raw ingredient. We also did not appreciate staff swiping cell phone/watching videos behind the sushi counter. If i am going for a semi nice setting like this location, I expect its staff to uphold a certain level of professionalism. Ultimately it was a bad experience and waste of money. Both food and service quality did not live up to its price.

Great hidden omakase in the LES...if you find it, go there

Everything from the atmosphere to the food is exceptional here. I had the omakase, which for $68 and 12 courses isn’t that expensive. The fish was incredibly fresh and the warm rice always paired well with the temperature of the fish. All the flavors came together beautifully in each dish. My personal favorite was the tuna with truffle salt, the fish melted in your mouth and the sear from the blowtorch added a good texture. I also had the Matcha sponge cake, which was actually a bit dry, but the cream cheese frosting was amazing and the small notes of almond added a complexity to the whole dessert. The staff were incredibly friendly and the whole experience was just amazing. Special praise to the ginger because it was some of the best I’ve ever had.

This is a hidden gem tucked away in the LES. Really cool interior & a fantastic omakase menu which was delicious. Make sure you order the crispy rice option, you won't be disappointed. Very friendly and attentive staff, will be back for sure.

It is good sushi for sure but they don’t have about half the menu every time—virtually the entire Isakaya section is out. The only appetizer available is Waygu beef, and a good bit of the nigiri are also waygu based. So it’s good but selection is small if not eating meat. I like the crispy rice too, it’s a bit sweeter than standard.
