I dropped into Sushi Bay at that sleepy hour after the lunch crowd and before the dinner rush, so I had the advantage of being one of only a few patrons. I sat in the front at a small table by the window. I'm don't appreciate wall sized TVs in restaurants that aren't sports clubs or bars, so the massive TV over the reception desk interrupted the otherwise serene feng shui of the dining room for me. However, the bay windows were a nice touch in keeping with the theme and adding a cozy element. The server was efficient and pleasant if not friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed. I'm making a special note about the napkins because they were a luxurious hybrid of paper and cloth, which I'd never run across before that elevated the experience. I chose the twister roll and baked salmon roll from a lengthy selection that included the geographically simple like the Philadelphia and California roll and vegetarian options such as cucumber and avocado roll (that came separately or rolled up together). My rolls were presented beautifully, fresh, and flavorful. The prices were what I'd expect for sushi that didn't come in plastic containers on a supermarket shelf. They also have lunch and dinner combos for solos and pairs that offer soup, appetizer, and entrées at reasonable prices that can be ordered online. Overall, this is a decent place to grab good sushi.
Great little sushi place with a nice happy hour menu.
Empty restaurant Service was unrefined Food was medium at best. Crispy Tuna is giant ball not bite sized pieces. Not great, the Hamachi also left a lot to be desired.
Japanese sushi. Japanese staff. Great food.
We ordered take out. Sushi is very fresh and the staff went above and beyond to get it to us. Highly recommend!!
This is our primary option when around Denver. Not only our Japanese food option but or restaurant option. Here you get quantity and quality for the price paid. Plain tables and decoration but definitely a place to go if you’re looking for a place to eat and not hang out. Vegetarian options: Not as fancy as many of the restaurants on Tennyson, but definitely your best budget / quality option
Tarda mucho para entregar los pedido muy mal servicio
I just tried Sushi Bay for the first time for a work lunch and was beyond impressed! All my expectations were easily exceeded. The quality of the fish and the service was outstanding. Don’t let small crowds deter you from dining in.
They do NOT have all you can eat as advertised l.
