Summer Summer Thai Eatery

Small portion for 20$. Not happy about all the flies near the front door inside the restaurant.

Passing through Emeryville on an Amtrak stop I found great reviews of this place and decided to check it out. What a find! As a lover of Thai food, I can heartily recommend SSTE to anyone looking for a great Thai meal. I tried the Ribeye Steak Panang with a Thai Iced Tea for lunch and both were excellent. The steak was perfectly grilled (and the peas and green beans in the panang curry were actually fresh!) The portion was so generous I got to take some home to the hotel to finish up later (and it still tasted good...:-) The atmosphere was cozy and Tanawat was a great host. If I'm ever back in Emeryville this is the first place I'll be sure to come back to.

Stop by here once in a while, good place and good food!
