Subway

March 12th update: After three years of alleged possible and suffering at the hands of the tyranny that is subway location in this area, I'm returning after 3 verified tries, including one tonight after in Coolidge corner had a live crack head, no longer takes card, rude AF, and was told they should 'close the doors on me' I am updating my review of this location to 5 stars as it seems they do, in fact, give a damn. Today a new employee took my order and despite some language barriers we vibes thru it. No crack on the tables and crackheads (their words) berating customers demanding money and threatening to kill the whole store for a cookie (true story). My only suggestion for this location is to keep it up! If that's not valid, cook the bread a big shorter, it's slightly crispy. Certainly better than both crack and the idea of having a door slammed in your face after arriving too close to close (1 hour and 41 minutes prior). This this location takes card, Coolidge corner location "doesn't know" when they'll take card again, doesn't make promotional items, and just hates themselves and the customer, which is very apparent. Thanks to the young ladies at this location and the new guy and taller man that assisted me the last three times I tried giving this location another shot... Glad I did. Bc they did have a really bad vibe 3 years ago but I had just moved here and it was just bad timing over all. Also, love the store inside!! These folks dont give a damn.

TLDR; Worst subway in the entirety of America; Rude staff, Old veggies, and below mediocre sandwich. First off, rude staff; constantly interrupted me during my order, and attempted to "correct" my order several times, practically had to argue with them about what veggies to put in the sandwich. They acted as though they were giving me some special right to be allowed to order from them. Wait time for sandwich building was atrociously long, one sandwich took roughly 10 minutes Second: Few ingredients, and many of them half rotted(because they dont close the sneeze guard that doubles as a sealing lid). And while the sandwich was (barely) fine enough, it was notably different from the lack of fresher veggies. They were also very stingy and refused to put more on with all the veggies, including the lettuce. Final note: All the food prep is completely uncovered, despite the fact they have the newer self sealing sneeze guard, inside of a convenience store that has high foot traffic and good few flies, counters are a bit dirty just like the rest of ths building... Not recommended.

First They don’t know how to treat the customer, neither they know how to even make a simple veggie delight sub. They use the worst quality vegetable for their sandwiches. The place is a total waste of money. They will charge you full and then they will give you the worst possible thing to eat.

Doesn’t accept coupons

I ordered a turkey sub with bacon and mozzarella and veggies on wheat and got tuna with bacon and mozzarella and veggies on white bread. Gross, infuriating and disappointing. Tuna is so far off from turkey and all my other mods were followed, I cannot fathom how this happened. What if I had had a fish allergy?? This place is awful.

My girlfriend got a tuna instead of a turkey and then she was angry. I hate this place. Plus my sandwich wasn’t toasted.

Terrible staff. Tells me a coupon is expired and just stares at me blankly when I show that the expiration date is a month away. It's unfortunate, because the only reason I'd ever eat Subway is if I have a coupon. At full-price, I'll just go to jersey mike's or literally any other sandwich place on Earth. Not only am I the one losing in this exchange because I actually consumed a Subway sandwich, but now I am wasting time and energy actively rooting for the downfall of a Subway franchisee. If the rats of Brighton opened up a fast-food spot, this would be it.
