Fantastic taste, not stingy when putting pieces of beef (a lot) and noodles. Cold weather with a bowl of hot soup will warm your heart out. Lunch Special for takeout only amazing food with amazing prices . Parking: The small free parking lot at the side, is minimal when dinner and lunchtime.
Unbelievably good food for the price tag. I got the char siu noodles with wonton soup all for $8, and the couple manning the place were incredibly sweet. Hard to think of a better bargain in Brighton
When we walked in the place was empty for a mid-week lunch. I was excited to try this place based on reviews I had read. Unfortunately, upon placing our order, we heard our server walk into the kitchen and began cooking our food in the microwave which was just a few feet from where we were sitting. Water was served in paper cups with no ice. The beef with kimchi appetizer tasted good but was luke-warm. My husband could not eat his ramen because it was incredibly sulphuric tasting. Mine was fine, but everything was mushy and over cooked. We were super disappointed with this place and were hungry when we left.
Good amount of lobster for the price. Broth was decent but needed some chili oil to kick it up a notch. Egg was hard boiled but still tasty. Cute and small spot, great service.
I was very disappointed as an avid ramen eater; I’ve been to at least 5 different ramen places in this general area alone and this one did not compare. The lobster salad was 1 disintegrated claw on Iceberg lettuce with a non distinct dressing. I had the tonkotsu ramen which is a classic and I’ve had it many times over there years and this one was flavorless and just not it; it had soggy vegetables, soggy noodles, broth with no salt or body that had very little flavor, and gamey + tough pork. The egg was also just a hard boiled egg which to me is a no in a ramen restaurant when I can do that at home. I couldn’t even finish the bowl, I just ate broth and called it . The salad was $12 and I’ll just chalk the price up to the lobster I guess. I really hate having this negative feedback but I was super disappointed and honestly confused because the reviews made it seem like this was a hidden gem but based on my experience their food is not good at all. The price of the ramen was okay @ $13
Delicious food. Lobster dishes are tasty.
I got the vegetable ramen, which was decent and just what I needed for the onset of the cold. Kimchi in the ramen was authentic. Loved the small, izakaya-like environment of the shop.
Solid cozy place. Clean and nice.
