Suan Thai and Japanese Restaurant

Pui was my server she was amazing super nice. I had a hand roll SO GOOD and the crab Rangoon really complete different from other places they were delicious. I really recommend this place. I was impressed how clean was the restaurant, sanitizer in each table. Such a Gem. 10/10

The lady that waited on us was rude and no customer service . She has glasses and short hair in my tail. Not even a hello threw the menus on table and walked away . We asked a question and she came back and said read the menu . I never ordered sushi always ordered other stuff . Like I wanted to know the difference. Horrable service and to pushy for us to order and no answers so I ordered the same as always and a real nasty girl the owner needs to get people that want to work ...he is so nice never had a issue. And we live close by we really enjoyed going there but after tonight nomore . To many other Thai places

Huge portions! Delicious and fresh food! We ate family style and it was still a ton of food! Age Tofu, steamed vegetables, Hot Mama roll, chicken katsu curry, and udon! Lemongrass ginger tea was refreshing and the zing of the ginger was fantastic! Our daughter said the lemonade was the perfect blend of sweet and sour! Definitely recommend if you are Fort Lauderdale!!

The take out of Pad woonson with chicken was so extremely spicy, I could not eat one bite. The shrimp shumai had no shrimp, all filler. Very disappointing. Total Waste of money!

It’s too bad that they are now playing Thai radio so you have to listen to Thai radio talk in the background. It’s unpleasant. I was a regular customer for many years, and when I asked them about the change in music and told them how I felt, they said they didn’t care. They think everyone loves it which I find difficult to believe because most of their customers are not Thai. I think the owner loves it and the servers love it. Not the customers. You can’t understand what the radio dj is saying and it’s tacky anyway. Who wants to listen to the radio talk while you’re eating a nice meal? The owner said, “We can do what we want.” Of course they can. But it really turned me off on the place. The music and the way they spoke to me. Very disappointed.

Worst service ever. Waiters disrespect us.

I spent 3 years in Thailand. This restaurant is authentic. And the prices are excellent.

Simply a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale, a nice place with excellent food and affordable prices, the variety of plates is surprising, i go at least twice a week..
