Great atmosphere, really enjoyed the sitting area around back. Fish and shrimp lunch special was great and had plenty of flavor. Jack did a great job handling our large crowd for lunch.

We are from Georgia. We ate at Stroke’s and it was really good. Several of us had many different things and each person likes what they ordered. Jack was awesome and we liked the atmosphere and the outdoor setting gave us that backyard relaxed vibe. We would eat here again and recommend to friends. Thanks Jack and Mr. Stroke’s.

My sister and I were visiting Sarasota from Minnesota, and we were dying to try some local seafood. We found Strokes, and tried his Snow Crab Combo and it was by far the best seafood we’ve ever had. The flavors were incredible and everything was cooked perfectly. The only bummer was that we found Strokes on the last day of our vacation and we didn’t have time to go again!! Seriously this place is a must-stop. It is a hole-in-the wall, one-man show that is so worth it. Seriously, do it!

Been in Sarasota for four days, looking for a great places to eat the whole time. This is by far been the best meal we’ve had would definitely come back again!

We were a party of 12 and probably not the most decisive group. The owner was actually who waited on us and he was amazing! The food was delicious, and we had meals from across the menu. The prices were exactly what we expected but the portions were great. If you are in the Sarasota area and want good local food that beats any seafood place here is your sign!!!!!!! The Crab boils, the wings, the cheeseburgers, the fried ocre, and the salad was perfect. Thank you for the great food and the wonderful service, you definitely will be seeing us when we are in the area.

A laid back atmosphere coupled with outdoor seating and television for your entertainment. The experience was the south from the beginning to the end. The seafood boil was extraordinary. I am still licking my fingers from yesterday. I have traveled throughout the South and here this place lies outdoing any seafood boil I have had from the Carolinas to the State of Colorado. It was a pleasure to eat at this establishment. The food permeated authenticity, care and downright delicious. This is it stop by!
