STIRR

I put me and my friends down for a table at 1:52pm. The hostess told me it could be up to 2 hours before I got seated and I told her that was fine. In the mean time me and my friend went to vidorra. 2 hours passed and no text letting us know the table was ready, 4 hours past and I realized I never got a text. 12AM rolls around and STIRR never text me again with an update on the table, imagine had I been waiting around for them to reach out to me. I have loved STIRR in the past but recently it’s been so unorganized.

My friend and I went to stirr Addison yesterday, I had a reservation for 3:30pm, but got there 3:40pm when we got there we requested upstairs, the hostess took us upstairs, we sat down, so excited and hungry( nobody came to give us even water until 4:00pm the server came gave us water, ordered mimosa pilcher, we asked her if we can order food she said no she is just taking drinks, we waited 10 minutes and nothing, we decided to leave at 4:10pm we left and made sure we told a server who followed us and down stairs hostess why we left, the ambiance is good but the service has to be better, this is the second time it’s happening that’s why I decided to write this review, 30 minutes is a long time, we went to vidorra and we had eaten in 30 mins and drunk never going to stirr again.

The atmosphere was VERY nice. Decent food and drink menus. Our only problem was service. But because that seemed to be due to OUR server, I don't want to knock the restaurant. We watched people who arrived AFTER us, have their entrees delivered before we had appetizers, or even able to ORDER our entrees. We actually had to stop another server to ask him to take our orders. Bottom line: Nice place with good food and drinks, and I WOULD give them another try. Going to chalk that experience up to a server having a bad day.

A Great Experience, Perfect for a First Date

Austin was amazing, he mentioned it was his 4th day on the job and took care of a 20 top all by himself super well and (we did not make a reservation so way to go!) he was very kind and prominent about helping us any way possible. I thought he went above and beyond for our group and would recommend him as a server to anyone!

Came in for drinks and snacks one gorgeous Saturday! Our server was so sweet, and we found out later it was his first shift. He was very attentive and took care of all of our needs. We ordered a pitcher of the Over the Waterfall cocktail, which was so refreshing and yummy.... and strong! We also ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and calamari. Everything was great. DJ was doing his thing. It was the prefect Saturday chill spot!
