This place is just a good as the more expensive oak'd place on Beltline but less pretentious. Jus' sayin'. They just started delivering the food to the table. Oak'd doesn't do that. Competition is good and since Spring Creek left bc stupid covid Addison hasn't had good barbq 'till this place opened up shop FIRST.
I try not to do very many reviews, but my food was so terrible today I felt I needed to say something. I ordered the Burnt Ends Lunch Plate for $26.00. There was such a huge amount of Salt on them that the after tasted was like battery acid has lasted for over an hour. I don't understand why the Chef didn't taste them before serving them. Anyone could realize they were not edible.
Visiting from out of town and got to try Crossbuck, among a few other BBQ spots in Dallas. I was impressed by everything we ordered. We had ribs, brisket, burnt ends, roasted potatoes, and Mac n Cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly and had a lot of flavor. It's definitely on the list for the next time we return to Dallas.
I went in with a photo of what my boyfriend wanted (it was first time visit) and the food is definitely worth the price!!! The meat from the brisket.. to the chicken.. to the ribs was perfection
We had the burnt ends, and I was very disappointed. They had a weird taste, and I threw them away. So did, my friend. Brisket was ok. I've had better.
Fantastic, unique food with unique flavors (unlike any other BBQ place we've been to). Loved the creativity of the menu. Definitely coming back
1 lil chicken leg n 2 sides for $15 I'm still hungry!
Great food - I love the brisket, hominy, BBQ beans, Mac and cheese and oh do I love the bread pudding too!! Great store and staff. You won’t be disappointed.
