Steak 'n Shake

After visiting from it being about two years, this restaurant really has turned around nicely. Nice staff.

Great service! Was given a free shake because they had extra during trainings, and was consistently asked to allow them to serve. Best fast food service ever experienced.

Okay so this happened a few months ago around December 07th, 2023 at around 8-9 pm at night. I'm giving 5 stars because I left my wallet in a booth and when I came back 4 days later to look for it, the manager kept it in the back. No one made any charges on it when they could have easily stolen it. I ordered a peppermint shake and I asked the guy who gave it to me if he'd seen it. He told me no. However, when I was about to leave all defeated, I decided to ask the guy who was taking out the trash in the front if he'd seen it. He was tall and wore a hat. He worked that same shift on Sunday night when I was there originally. He decided to call the manager who wasn't working that day to see if he kept it and he did! I'm just grateful that my wallet wasn't stolen. I know they were all busy doing their job but at least that one guy helped me. I forgot to ask him his name but if he reads this by any chance and knows that it's him, THANK YOU, YOU THE MAN. I hope you live a long and happy life! =)

Watched the staff, threatening another customer because she received the wrong order and was trying to get the right one. The customer remained calm, kind, and collected during the entire encounter. She winded up leaving without the wrong order, the correct order, or a refund because she was being threatened by the staff. Absolutely crazy, avoid the place at all cost.

Arrived 1 hour before closing they didn't take my order because they only had 3 people working and wanted to start cleaning early horrible way to do business

Bad customer service. Made both orders wrong. They DO NOT issue refunds & the burger was ssa.

used to love this place as a kid. not a single clean table, floors a mess. i understand not having servers after covid but at least keep the place sanitary. overheard a conversation of a woman not getting her shake after a whole hour of waiting for it. looking around there’s shakes, food treys, and spilt drinks on empty tables. if being understaffed is the issue, the owners won’t have to worry about that for long. this place doesn’t seem like it’ll stay open much longer.

They took 35 mns to do 5 regular shakes.
