Good food for the price

I don't usually do reviews but this was not a good experience. I feel like they were lazy and careless. One of the fries was the wrong size, we didn't get our dipping sauce, we didn't get our straws, and she had to go back in for one of our drinks. We ordered 3 chicken tenders kids meals and they were all thrown in two boxes without being informed. We also ordered two chocolate milks but got one chocolate and one white. I understand mistakes but I feel like these were careless mistakes.

No wait staff. Dirty tables. 7pm at night wad a 20 min wait for food. 25 min wait for a shake. The food is good but the place is very dumpy.

It is one of the worst Steak & Shake locations I have ever been to. The building and grounds are unkempt, dilapidated, and often dirty. When I approached the drive-thru speaker, the order taker introduced themselves as "Homer Simpson." I'm not sure if this was an attempt to be humorous, done out of shame, or if it was an attempt to avoid responsibility. I really wish this location was better as so many of the restaurants near by have undergone recent renovations. I'm sure the staffing issue is the same as other similar establishments are experiencing, but this location seems to have a bit more trouble retaining management. Corporate Office: please take action and help, or close up shop.

The service was extremely slow. I sat for almost 15 minutes before having my order taken. Then it was almost another 20 minutes before receiving my meal and shake.
