What an amazing experience at Steak 954 this past weekend. Reservation was for 5:00pm but we arrived early and sat at the bar for a few drinks. The bartenders (Marc and another gentleman)who were there were amazing with the drinks, conversation, and helping with decisions on the menu. After that we were seated and had an amazing experience with our server Rosa. Rosa was very attentive and made sure that our every need was met and every question answered. Shrimp and Wagyu sliders as appetizers were amazing and just when I thought it couldn't get any better they presented this amazing bread that was so light and delicious that we argued about how it was made and questioned how it was hollow in the middle . Then the main courses of lollipop lamb chops and the 18 Oz Ribeye stole the show. All in all an amazing evening and one that I plan on repeating on my next visit.
Sent my fillet mignon back to the kitchen THREE TIMES. I asked for medium rare but each time it was overcooked. Prices of up to $200 for a steak certainly didn’t reflect the poor service and poor quality provided by a badly managed restaurant. I am staggered by the number of positive reviews on this site.
One of the best spots for a fun, leisurely Brunch on Ft Lauderdale beach, great peoplewatching. I had the Reuben Benedicts today which were delicious. Great service from David, Alvin and Sidney.
Ordered a 14oz NY Strip that I couldn’t eat. It was VERY salty, enough to irritate the back of my throat. The service was great!! The truffle scalloped potatoes was excellent.
An incredible experience every time. Highly recommend.
First off I want to thank our waiter Tony for the great hospitality. He was attentive funny and very knowledgeable. My mom did ask for her steak to be medium well it was medium rare but that’s a better mistake than overcooking it. My porterhouse was cooked to perfection and the char was delicious. That crab cake is quite small but great flavor. Those popovers for a bread option were out of this world.
