Very tasty Polish food! One of my favorite Polish restaurants in Chicago.
came in on a Wednesday as a group of 6 friends. reserved a table, was promptly seated. a little weird to sit on a bench against a wall but maybe that's part of the old world charm. lovely interior building. had the family style dinner: kielbasa, some chicken-kiev style dish, cucumber salad, various pierogies, Hungarian goulash, rye soup (had egg and sausage in it, first time I ever tried it). cheese blintzes for dessert very friendly and professional service. food was impeccable, would 100% recommend
Really great Polish restaurant. We were in town on vacation and had to have some authentic Polish and this place didn't disappoint. Excellent food excellent service
Everything about this restaurant was superb
We love this place. The wait staff are sweet and the food is amazing. It is so delicious, you can't stop eating it. Plus, there are a lot of unique dishes like bacon wrapped prunes.
Bardzo źle jedzenie. Nie polecam
Reminded me of my gramma’s Eastern European home cooking: delicious beet soup, goat cheese & beet salad, veal meatballs, mashed potatoes and apple kuka (strudel-like cake)! Although people rave about the beef stroganoff, the beef was dry & stringy and I had to add a lot of salt & pepper. Also, the cabbage rolls had tasty tomato sauce and lots of meat & rice but just a wafer-thin cabbage wrapping.
