The food was great and the atmosphere is always Vibrant.
Anytime I'm in Atlanta, this is my go-to spot. AMAZING...I don't know what else to tell you. If you like seafood, and a great bar atmosphere, then this is the place for you.
Food is subpar. Crab legs are overcooked and mushy. They charge $2 extra for old bay seasoning when you're ordering crab legs. I ordered a combo bucket and received a small king crab leg with no meat in it. I thought he (Chef) was going to make it right but instead he brought a king crab claw that I couldn't open. It had sharp spikes and they don't provide metal crackers. I'm very disappointed by this meal. I've come here several times and I've never felt like I just wasted my money. The waitress was pleasant but overall not worth $250. I will not be returning.
The Bob Marley is a great drink and you'll really only need one. Plus, it's kind of pricey. My wife and I shared the Deluxe Seafood Platter and it was great. Price came to almost $74 for two drinks and the platter. Our server, Thema, was great and it made our first visit a good one that we'll come back for. ****5 Apr 24 UPDATE**** So now Spondivits is charging a surcharge for paying with a card?!!!? I, like most people in the 2000's, don't carry $240+ in cash! On top of the automatic 18%, which I'm fine with, you pass along a surcharge to your customers. I'm sure the average ticket per person is easily $75 which is now 22% in additional charges or $92 approximately or more. I won't be doing this again! There's no signage or upfront notice about the gratuity or the "surcharge" so customers can decide beforehand and make an informed decision on whether to eat there or not according to their budget. Our server tonight, Jada, was good and gave us good attention and none of this was her fault; the automatic gratuity was deserved. But I won't be going back. For $250 I can find better places to get seafood and I don't want to be "seen" or just to say/show where I ate on social media.
This place is overpriced but food was fresh at least. Claim their chowder is award winning but it was just ok. At $16 a cup it should be way better. They’ve got some rules - which they tell you about before ordering but at that point they’ve got you. +4% using a card, tip added automatically, can’t change your order once it’s submitted. If you don’t mind the high prices it’s serviceable.
I had a mix of different seafood all great but the oysters was life changing
The food was very fresh and not over seasoned. Our waiter was pretty cool as well. The food was expensive but that's expected since your right by the airport. Valet was free but we tipped the driver. Overall I give it 5 stars. Will definitely be back
