Pho was a little salty, but not enough to lose point cause it was a very good broth. The servers are very nice & welcoming. I'll be back here to eat again for sure when back in Tampa Bay
My partner and I finally tried this place after passing by it so many times. We came with high expectations and upon first contact of the spoonful of broth with our taste buds, those expectations were blown out of the water. Stop sleeping on this place like we did and start living a life full of delicious pho. P.S. the Thai tea isn’t powdered and it SLAPS
First time I tried this restaurant. I was surprise how big the restaurant was on the inside. The place looks clean and open. The owners were nice and the food came out quickly. I ordered my go to soup called Bun Bo hue. It was very good and flavorful. I will come back again and try the Pho.
Best Pho I ever had so far - service is exceptional.
Do not order Pho to go from here! They take advantage of you when you order to go. We got Chicken Pho and Veggie Pho... Very small amount of food and ingredients compared to what other Pho restaurants give you. The chicken was stringy, tough, and flavorless, seriously, I through it out and used the roasted chicken I bought from Sam's Club. So we got stringy tough chicken, a little bit of onion, basil, bean sprouts, no carrots, no broccoli. Then they labeled the broth wrong, you can tell chicken broth by the oil floating on top. Overall, not impressed. Will not be back for more. Spent 28.00 on two Pho, not happy with what we were served. We normally got to Tasty Pho, just up the street. It is always very tasteful and well presented. Never had a single poor experience whether it was to-go or dine in. And, I am in no way affiliated with Tasty Pho, other than being one of their customers. I just wanted to try another place for Pho. But I clearly have learned my lesson today. This place, hence it's name, is anything but Special. If you want bland, tough chicken, this is your place! I'll pass, thanks.
Just a usually Pho restaurant. The Pho is a little above average. Location is not friendy and not easy to find.
If you're wondering what makes this place "special" compared to all of the other pho restaurants, it is the fresh pho noodles. It tastes exceptionally fresh and the broth is flavorful while being well balanced. We ordered 5 of the Pho Dac Biet bowls and weren't disappointed. I would rate this at the top of all the pho restaurants I have tried in the Tampa area without hesitation. For what it's worth, I'm Vietnamese. If you're looking for Bun Bo Hue, aka spicy beef noodle soup, they do make it as well. It's just an off menu item.
I’m making my way through every restaurant that serves Pho in St. Pete, and this is the best so far, hands down!
