** Updated ** This is response to the reply... My experience was in person. The menus referenced in my review were the hard copy menus presented to our table, not from online pricing. Food and service was outstanding. Hot, fast, and fresh. Why three stars overall? This is due to menu pricing discrepancies, and being told they were old menus, not updated, and there was nothing they could do. Four stars on the food simply because the shrimp dinner stated rice and vegetables for the side. There were no veggies, unless they think a single slice of tomato and a single sprig of spring mix foliage counts.
If I could do zero stars I would. I have food allergies and ordered accordingly. My food came and mushrooms were in my French dip though I asked for none they took my food and instead of remaking they removed the mushrooms and threw the meat back on to cook they brought me a plate with mushy bread and burnt food on it with cold fries and NO ONE thought this was a problem. The waitress was not caring about duh allergies here. The owner is no better I won't be back and I had heard such good things what a disappointment. Maybe they had a off day or maybe they just wanted to go home..........
So glad to have found this small gem of a restaurant! In Bunnell on US 1, it is a small place with inside and outdoor seating and a small bar. I came for a lunch special of a lobster roll which I was so happy to see was done “Connecticut” style meaning warm with melted butter and not Maine style which is cold and with mayo. It came with delicious fries and good coleslaw too for a reasonable price. The regular menu is pretty extensive with fish and other seafood items plus burgers and wraps etc. Prime rib dinners are served three nights per week My husband had mahi mahi grilled in a wrap and it was also fresh and tasty. We plan to have Southside Grille on our rotation!
