Southern Culture Kitchen and Bar

For a first time visit here on a lovely sunday, Food and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful, food was a 10/10, Shrimp and grits for me…but Chef Jimmy did an excellent job! Jewel our server was so sweet and welcoming! Definitely worth the visit!

Excellent place to eat some incredibly tasty food! We came from the Atlanta area as a trip and my family joined and everyone enjoyed eating here. Hospitable staff and Chef Jimmy personally came out and brought out a peach cobbler pound cake for us to enjoy. Lovely experience!

It was a little loud in there due to 2 tables of ladies that had their fair share of mimosas. The food was good, but a little pricey in my book. Then again, so many restaurants are going overboard on their prices. This is not NYC, CA, or Texas.

Baby they did A1 all the way across the board!!!! Ms. Fred back in the kitchen with somebody's GreatGrandmas Recipes bc they dont cook like that anymore!!!! definitely will be back!!!!

We LOVE Southern Culture! I’ve been tons of times with my husband and friends for brunch. Never had a bad a brunch. Today we ordered nachos at 5:30 and was disappointed.. They didn’t have much for toppings. Mostly chips. But because their brunch is awesome I’ve gotta say I love S C but I prefer brunch 3/22/24 So here we are again on another visit. Disappointed again. Ugh. I’m gonna stick to the brunch. I ordered chicken and waffles, hubs ordered Meatloaf. His meatloaf was fair/good but was topped with basically a tomato soup he didn’t like at all. Husband said the meatloaf was soft and had no body or texture. My waffle was flat not fluffy at all and dry. The waffle almost seemed like it didn’t rise and you can see it in the picture. The fried chicken was as mediocre and really small. Fried Green tomatoes were on point though. I felt like it could’ve used a side of pimento cheese and less roumalade.

Chicken tasted horrible and the tater tots were too hard to eat! Do not recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for somewhere to dine in. Best thing was the Cuban daiquiri !

This was a great dining experience! Our waitress Jewel was just that a jewel! She was attentive, fun, knowledgeable about the menu/substitutions and served with a smile. I had the Brunchfest eggs, bacon, apple chicken sausage, grits and subbed the sourdough bread with 1/2 waffle. All was so delicious! This was my first time, but won’t be my last.
