I will say the only issue we had was the new arrangement of the dining room. With removing the carpet and not adding any other soft surfaces, the dining room is very loud. They need to add sound absorbing pictures or wall panels. During dinner sometimes it was hard to hear my other guest.

My favorite go-to for comfort food! Their food never disappoints.

We were greeted right away by Lisa and she took our drink orders. She explained menu items and put in our order, which came out quickly. The food was great and we enjoyed our meal and the service was top notch. It’s a little loud in here, but otherwise everything was great! Thank you Lisa!

Our server, Jordan, was fantastic! My friend and I ordered the AYCE Ribs. Jordan answered our questions, was cheerful and attentive, and he checked back multiple times to make sure that we had all we needed, had received all that we had asked for, took away empty plates without having to be asked, and offered drink refills, when our glasses got low. Definitely would look to have him serve our table again in a future visit! The restaurant was recently renovated. The booths give diners ample room. There are a lot of hard surfaces, and the sound level in the restaurant got a bit too loud just from one large party nearby. I can only imagine the noise level would make conversation difficult to hear at one's own table if the restaurant had been more than half-full. Parking: Handicapped parking by the front entrance. But, one set of doors was locked, so I had to walk to the farther end door to enter. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant has tables that a wheelchair could be used with, entrance has no stairs, and the interior flooring is one level and polished cement.

I like the barbecue at Sonny’s. I miss the salad bar. Lisa knows my drink and how I like my sandwich. It’s nice going some place where the servers are attentive, pleasant and remember their patrons.
