Smallcakes of Fort Myers

I sent a message through Facebook and asked if they sold gluten free cupcakes. I was told they did and then they asked what flavor I wanted and when I needed some. Then they proceeded to make me the most delicious lemon cupcakes and some that were blueberry lemon. Both were absolutely delicious! I hadn't had a yummy lemon cupcake in years! I'll definitely be back when I visit Ft Myers again! Oh and they sell pupcakes which my puppy absolutely loved! Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten-free cupcakes

Mouthwatering! Delicious cupcakes. It has a lot of decorative icing so the kids love it.. so be prepared to take them to the park afterwards. I got them at an event and you and you can’t have just one. They are so pretty and they have a variety to choose from.

This weekend picks. Wedding Cake, Pink Vanilla, and Chocolate Covered Strawberry. Chocolate Covered Strawberry went to my dad. I tried a small piece of the other two. So good! I've been following the Smallcakes of Fort Myers Facebook page for a couple of weeks now. I believe in supporting small businesses, even if it's just sharing posts. I was scrolling a couple of days and came across one of their posts, with the cupcake specials of the day. My daughter and I love Italian rainbow cookies. They had a rainbow cookie cupcake as a special of the day. We decided to finally stop by the shop and take home a few different types. I'm going to have to say these are probably some of the best cupcakes that we have ever had. *The Italian Rainbow Cake is 3 layers of almond sponge cake, filled with raspberry jam, topped with chocolate ganache, Italian rainbow cookie, and sprinkles. *The Cannoli is a vanilla bean cupcake with chocolate chips, topped with cream cheese buttercream, chocolate, and a cannoli. *The Chocolate Cream is a chocolate cake filled with buttercream topped with fudge frosting and buttercream. *The Lemon Drop is a lemon cake filled with lemon curd, topped with lemon buttercream and lemon curd. If I could give them more stars for their rating, I would in a heartbeat!!

Let me tell you, my bestie brings me cupcakes on several occasions from here, I'm a cupcake fanatic and all I can say is THANK GOD THEY'RE NOT IN CAPE CORAL bc id be sooooo over my weight limit! Incredible

Amazing decorating and taste! They were able to make a 7” two layer custom cake in 5 days for us. We asked for no fondant, buttercream icing, lemon filling, and a floral design. They asked for a few pictures for inspiration to get an idea of what we wanted. After we had a good conversation we agreed on some real flowers on top, decorated flowers on the side, lemon curd filling, and butter cream frosting. What they delivered was nothing short of perfect. It felt too pretty to cut. The icing was amazing. The cake was nice and soft, the filling between layers was an amazing lemon curd. The price was also very reasonable for the amount of work and decorating they did. Only thing I would tweak is to ask them in the future if they could cut the layers in half and add more filling.

I’ve wanted to try this place for so long and they didn’t disappoint. Were a huge hit at the office they were so delicious, will definitely be getting more.
